Dr. Manabe is a Senior Meteorologist at Princeton University, and one of the world’s leading scientists in numerical modeling of climate and climate change. For more than five decades Dr. Manabe worked at the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory in Princeton, New Jersey, where he pioneered the use of computers to simulate global climate change and natural climate variations. These breakthroughs have helped provide the foundation for the modern science of climatology.
