A BIT ABOUT ME

I am interested in Atmospheric Physics. My research focuses primarily on deep convection, with particular reference to cold pools and downdrafts, using the combination of Large Eddy Simulations/Cloud Resolving Models and a Lagrangian Particle Dispersion Model to obtain a process level understanding of the fundamental dynamics of such systems. I am also expanding the breadth of my interests to include topics related to the interaction between the land surface and the atmosphere, aiming to answer important questions about long-term impacts of land use on climate at the regional and global scale
